Treasury's Inflation-Indexed Securities Reference CPI Numbers and Daily Index Ratios
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Office of Financing October 19, 2001 (202) 691-3550 Public Debt announced today the reference Consumer Price Index (CPI) numbers and daily index ratios for the month of November for the following Treasury inflation-indexed securities: (1) 3-3/8% 10-year notes due January 15, 2007 (2) 3-5/8% 5-year notes due July 15, 2002 (3) 3-5/8% 10-year notes due January 15, 2008 (4) 3-5/8% 30-year bonds due April 15, 2028 (5) 3-7/8% 10-year notes due January 15, 2009 (6) 3-7/8% 30-year bonds due April 15, 2029 (7) 4-1/4% 10-year notes due January 15, 2010 (8) 3-1/2% 10-year notes due January 15, 2011 (9) 3-3/8% 30-1/2-year bonds due April 15, 2032 This information is based on the non-seasonally adjusted U.S. City Average All Items Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor. In addition to the publication of the reference CPI's (Ref CPI) and index ratios, this release provides the non-seasonally adjusted CPI-U for the prior three- month period.
